Selam Africa Remix

It’s impossible to squeeze in the wide range of ethnic, cultural and musical diversity that is significant to the African continent, into one single album. Nevertheless, there are some shared forms of musical expressions as well as new musical trends
across the African continent. This compilation gives the listener a brief musical overview representing contemporary music from Africa; ranging from more traditional sounds to a mix of hiphop, reggae and club music fused with local elements.

Selam Africa Remix contains 16 tracks with music from countries such as Nigeria, Mali, South Africa, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Cap Verde, Congo, Tanzania and Ethiopia. The compilation includes both lounge tracks and dance oriented tracks. The one and only reason for them being represented on this album is the fact that
they are simply damn good songs!
